The Cedar Brake Cemetery is located in east-central San Saba County about two miles south of the city of San Saba. It is situated near Simpson Creek on the old James Thomas Kelly, Sr. place, now owned by granddaughter Kim Wilson.

Directions:
• From the city of San Saba on State Highway 16 south:
• From U. S. Post Office go south 1.7 miles to the intersection with County Road 305.
• Turn right onto CR 305 (unpaved). Follow CR 305 for 0.4 mile to old ranch house.
• Veer left at house and follow dim, uphill pasture road 0.1 mile to cemetery.
This small family cemetery is in good condition and is well maintained by the Kelly-Schoenbacher family. The cemetery is an area of 31 feet east to west and 21 feet north to south. The area is enclosed by a 5 foot high net wire fence with metal posts. There is an entrance gate at midpoint in the east fence line.
