Directions:
Go north on Highway 16 from San Saba city limit 1.4 miles to FM 500. Turn left onto F.M. 500.
Go 3.4 miles to CR 117 (unpaved.) Turn right onto CR 117.
From Jack Grumble's gate go _ mile to second gate.
Go through gate and take an immediate left into field (no road) and take a westerly route for mile and turn left to reach a tree covered knoll. This is the location of the cemetery.
Condition:
This old cemetery has been neglected for many years and shows signs of complete abandonment. The cemetery is not fenced. However, there are two gravesites enclosed by decorative iron fencing often seen in very old cemeteries. One enclosure contains two gravesites and the other has one. Only one tombstone remains unbroken and standing. All others are broken, and some are shattered beyond repair.
