Kelley Cemetery



Location:
 
The Kelley Family Cemetery is located in the northeast sector of the city of San Saba at the edge of San Saba city limit east. The cemetery is on  private property owned by members of the Kelley family (Rose and Greg Jackson.) The Kelley property is at the dead end of Lookout Street.

Directions:
 From U. S. Highway 190 at the northeast corner of San Saba County Courthouse Square.


• Go north on Live Oak Street, through the railroad underpass and turn right onto Seider Street.

• Go east on Seider Street to Lookout Street.

• Turn right onto Lookout Street.

• Follow Lookout Street with a sharp left turn to a dead end at  the fence surrounding the San Saba River Nature Park.

• The cemetery is to the north side of  the road. and aligned along the park fence.

Condition:
This small cemetery is in remarkably good condition and is lovingly maintained by members of the Kelley family. It is in an area of about 25 ft. by 50 ft. enclosed by a 3 ft. high chain link fence. There is an entrance gate at mid point in the west fence line. 

Inscriptions:

Listings are by date of death and burial in the order of first to last. The first burial was July 24, 1988. The last burial (as of December 20, 2008) was November 3, 2004.
